Lunchtime!

This delightful little nugget, is bursting with nastolgia, everything from Hopalong Cassidy to Smurfs. I have never wanted to tote my lunch all over town, until now. This book truly has it all, you name it, it's in here.
Here are some of my favorites.
1960's moon landing
Action Jackson
Ronald McDonald
Cracker Jack
Fritos Brand Corn Chips (you can guess what's inside)

What says "let's eat" like a Porky the Pig lunchbox?

It's Oak Ridge!

I know what you're thinking, but this is a christmas classic in my house. It's better than you think, believe it or not. I think this month we should focus on Christmas music. I'm very picky when it comes to Christmas music, so this year I vow to find a new favorite. If you don't like this cd, maybe the cover will give you some great hairstyling ideas.

A Christmas Classic

I have such fond memories of this movie. This film was able to teach children all over the world just how to protect themselves when they were home alone. Should I have to be home alone, I felt safe, and totally in control thanks to this movie. Not to mention, that dreamy little boy Macaulay Cuklin, who stole our young hearts. Check it out today, and remember your childhood.

Bushisms

I was unable to find a picture of this lovely book, but the contents were still too good to pass up. It seems like no one is happy with Obama today, but I'd like to take this moment to remind you of the past.

"Well, I think if you say you're going to do something and don't do it, that's trustworthiness."

"there's no such thing as legacies. At least, there is a legacy, but I'll never see it."

"You teach a child to read, and he or her will be able to pass a literacy test."

"If affirmative action means what I just described, what I'm for, then I'm for it."

Kingdom of Heaven

The costuming is fabulous, and fairly accurate to the time period. The fight scenes are very good, and the right kinds of horses are used in the right scenes. It's as accurate as you can get (pretty much). For those who enjoy historically based films, or Orlando Bloom, this one is sure to please.

"A Spectacular Epic Adventure!"
